- This Research concerns economic growth and income distribution imbalance between districts/cities in West Papua Province from 2004 to 2009 or aim at measuring and analyzing tendency of income imbalance patterns between districts/cities in West Papua Province, detect economic structure and pattern between districts/cities of West Papua Province, and evaluate the leading sectors in the district area of West Papua Province.Data used in this research way secondary data from 2004 to 2009. The data were collected from Statistic Board Center of West Papua Province and Local Development Planning Board of West Papua Province. Analytic tools used were Klassen Tipology, Williamson Imbalance Index and symmetric location quotient. Results of the research indicated that districts/cities in West Papua Province could be classified into four groups. Group with high growth and high income were districts of North Teluk Bintuni and Raja Ampat
