- The study was conducted to understand the role of the Regional Council and the Honorary Board of Trustees for the supervision of Notary District in Banjarmasin and knowing that there are constraints in the implementation of oversight by the Board of Trustees Deed Local and Regional Advisory Council in Banjarmasin. This research is an empirical law, namely legal research that aims to know the extent of the workings of law in society. The main data in this study are primary data obtained directly from research subjects. To complement the primary data was also carried out the research literature. This research was analyzed using qualitative analysis methods and are presented with descriptive analytic. The results of this study indicate (1) Regional Supervisory Council to conduct surveillance Notary office and at the same time while the Code of Honor Council Area Notary only provide oversight to the implementation of the Code of Professional Notary that is internal. Regional Honor Board may impose sanctions in the form of dismissal from membership of the Organization, but can not dismiss his position as a Notary Public. Regional Supervisory Council has carried out its role as overseer Notary, but there are some roles that have been implemented but not yet optimal in its implementation, among others, to investigate reports of notary public and submit the assessment to the Board of Trustees Area Notary within 30 (thirty) days and inspection protocol Notary carefully. The role that has not been implemented by the Regional Supervisor Banjarmasin City Council is to submit an appeal against the rejection decision on leave. Role of Regional Advisory Council in making decisions on violations of the Code is still visible not optimal. One is the length of time to take a decision to follow up violations of the Code by the Notary.
