- The purpose of this study was to evaluated the effect of different concentrations and times of application of carbamid peroksid as home bleaching agent on enamel microhardness. In this research, among six groups 36 human premolars were distributed and storage in artifisial saliva : group I as control storage in artificial saliva 14 day, group II as control storage in artificial saliva 21 day, group III 10% CP 6h x14d, group IV 10% CP 6h x 21d, group V 15% CP 6h/14h, group VI 15% CP 6h/21d. The facial surface of each premolar was assessed with a load of VHN 100 g for 15 s. The result showed that the mean and standard deviation of microhardness surface on enamel on group I 303.5±2,60, group II 303.5±2,60, group III 298 ±` 4.35, group IV 295.08±6.200, group V 294.58 ± 3.54, group VI 291 ± 7.21.The result from two way Anova revealed that were no effect on different concentrations, time of applications , and the interaction of concentration & time of application on enamel microhardness (p>0,05). Statistical analysis also indicated that there were significant difference between the carbamid peroxide treated specimens and the control group (p<0.05) As conclusion in this research, there were no effect on different concentrations, times of application, and the interaction of concentration & time of application on enamel microhardness.
