- Guava is one of the most economically important and usefully fruit in Myrtaceae. Knowledge about biological characters including morphological and genetic characters are important for guava research and development. There are less-scientifically publications make this study purposed to know morphological characters, genetic characters, and phenetic relationship of guava in Special Region of Yogyakarta. Inventory and morphological characterization method were used to collected the sample, and Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) was used for molecular identification. NTSYS 2.02 programe with Unweighted Pair-Group Methods Using Aritmatic Averages (UPGMA) was used to cluster analysis and Jaccard coefficient to product similarity index of dendrogram.The results showed that there was found 8 guava germplasms
