- This research publication concerns with the current issue on the Influence of the Greater Yogyakarta Land Used-Planning (KPY) to Investment in the Yogyakarta Province within the Decentralization Policy. Therefore its main problem is defined as �Whether the Greater Yogyakarta Land-used Planning Bill could contribute to increase local investment within the Yogyakarta Province based on the Law Number 25 of 2007? Normative legal research conducted by literature review and field research were conducted in sequence in order to reveal conclusion or answer to the said problem. Primary, secondary and tertiary legal resources relevant to this research were taken into account in this researh. Precision and recall are intended to be obtained from systemizing, qualifying and concluding variables of this research literature. At the final stage, deductive as well as inductive legal interprestation was outlined in order to reach the final conclusion and answers. It reveals that the greater Yogyakarta Land-used Planning Bill has a little influence to incerase domestic investment because it opens chance to widen up gaps, legal bias, legal vacuum, legal lacunae and legal conflict among stakeholders and beneficiaries. Moreover, negative and positive factors are able to be identified. Finally, the distribution of authorities between central and local government is one of crucial element to effectively implement it in future since decentralization policy really defines its implementation.
