  • Rhizophora mucronata is a mangrove species that commonly used for the rehabilitation of mangrove areas. One of the benefits of environmental condition produced by the implementation with Rhizophora mucronata rehabilitation is the absorption and storage of atmospheric carbon (C - Sequestration). The environmental benefit can be used as a reference in evaluating the potential measurement of mangrove rehabilitation. The problem is to estimate the environmental benefits of C - sequestration by the vegetation of Rhizophora mucronata quickly, easily, inexpensively, accurately and has a reliable capability, and without damaging the results of rehabilitation which is recently not available, mainly located in Indonesia, especially Jepara.
