Daftar Isi:
- Indonesia is one of the countries which has problems in almost all aspects of life. Energy is one of the worlds major problems in the 21st century. Until now, oil is still the main energy source for all countries including Indonesia despite recent increases in the cost of fossil fuels. Another big problem in Indonesia is waste. A significant amount of waste is organic, for example teakwood sawdust, which can be converted into fuel in the form of bio-oil by a process of fast pyrolysis. This research aims to study the influence of teakwood sawdust raw material and temperature on the yield of bio-oil and the calorific value produced. The teakwood sawdust used has a maximum size of 1.18 mm. The material is then pyrolysed in a pyrolysis reactor with a material capacity of 200 grams. The research result shows that the highest yield bio-oil from teakwood sawdust waste at a temperature of 500oC is 21.99% and the calorific value produced is 7,497.52 Kal/g. The calorific value is higher than that of wood and coal. With a pyrolysis tube capacity of 30 kg, 2,028 liter / year of bio-oil can be produced. A fixed capital of Rp 10,602,000.00 is needed and a total production cost of Rp 15.203.340,00 / year, with total income of Rp 20,280,000.00 / year and the nett profit of Rp 5,076,660.00 / year. While the BEP value is 2,252.34 units/month
