- This study aims to find out more about : 1) To know potention n empowered of Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara; 2) To find the factors that involves of empowered of Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara in prepare defense in the region; 3) To know which strategy to empowered Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara. in order to be empowered in order to prepare defenses in the region. Research conducted by the defense systems of theoretical frame of the universe that involves Commander Kodim 0507/Bekasi, Commander and staff of Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara and other national resoources. Use methods that emphasize qualitative data collection and analysis in writing (literature study) and expression data (observations, statements, interviews). From research conducted, found that the people still need Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara until now, because not only duties to prepare defenses in the region but made situation and condition in a variety of security in the region. In that role can be seen that Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara has a very strategic position in the preparation of the defense effort in the region, even have lots of losses. That happend because of their skill, and minimmum personel of Babinsa, so they used private soldiers. Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara still dont get an education and course in teritory case for incrase their ability. The peoples needs Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara could be empowered for get optimal result. The peoples can help increase the militancy and participation in state defense, this is a very strategic potential to be considered in efforts to build a national defense system. Babinsa Koramil 14/Bekasi Utara empowerment success will be a valuable contribution to national defense development strategy, and can be used as one model that can be applied in other areas to set up a tough defense areas by utilizing the existing potential in the local community. Each region would have a specific potential in the community, and if that potential can be empowered with the right strategy will help government efforts to prepare early defense system capable of facing any threats that exist.
