- The research on the implementation of qard financing contract at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri (PT.BSM), Bukittinggi branch aimed to identify how the implementation qard financing was carried out at PT. BSM Bukittinggi branch, and efforts that PT. BSM Bukittinggi carried out to make the qardh returned, and obstacles encountered in the implementation of qardh financing at PT. BSM Bukittinggi branch and solutions to solve the problems. This was a juridical empirical or socio-legal research, and categorized as non doctrinal activity to collect primary data. Field study was conducted to collect data and it was associated with legal norms, which was supported by literature study. Direct communication technique was conducted through the use of unstructured interviews. Data were qualitative and descriptively analyzed. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that the implementation of qardh financing contract at PT. BSM Bukittinggi branch had been consistent with Islamic Sharia law
