- Reproduction technology achievement on canine was fast developed, with born of cloning and transgenic dog, unfortunately that's technology still used oocyte matured in vivo because canine oocyte maturation in vitro in this animal not developed yet and maturation rate still low.The present study was to investigated the effects of cow serum supplementation on meiotic resumption of canine oocytes from various estrus stage. Ovary obtained from bitches at an-, pro- and di-estrus stage after ovariohysterectomized at clinic veterinary practice. Ovary were placed in 0.9% physiologycal saline added 1% pennicilline-streptomycin with temperature 37°C and then brought to laboratory.Ovary washed several times used PBS and oocytes were obtained by slicing ovarian tissue in tissue culture medium (TCM)~ 199supplemented with 25mM Hepes, 1%pennicillin-streptomycin. Selected cummulus oocyte complexes (COCs) were matured in TCM-199 as control and TCM-199 + 10%cow serum as treatment, on incubator with 38°C, 5% C02 and 5% O2.After 72 h incubation and Hoechst 33342 staining, the result shows that cow serum supplement have higher meiotic resumption significantly (P
