- Abstract Function instruction of exploiting of farm is one of planning system developed by Forestry Department, and is part of usual soil conservatiCfl7and land rehabilitationpattern fundamental plan using drainage basin (DAS) as the planning unit Analyse for determining of instruction of land exploiting done by using peripheral SIG, with step as follows: maps which made based on results observation of fields digitizen by using ArcView GIS 3.2. Then done by overlay slope map, soil type map, rainfallintensity. Data the attribute for all map which made yielded with operation Query Builderand Calculate. Research result indicate that instruction of land exploiting based on the obtained, cover covert area, buffer area, perennial crop area and setlement area. The spreading area is the biggest is buffer area broadly 646,45 Ha or about 44,94 %. Land use evaluation result to the instruction of land exploiting obtained is appropriate land use suitable (S), Conditionalsuitable. (S*), non suitable (TS) and there is be not assessed (*) at area of exploiting instruction. Keywords: SIG, Land Use, Exploiting instruction
