- Escherichia coli 0] 57:H7 is one of the bacterial causing borne food disease in human. Monospecific immune serum against somatic (0) and t1agella(H) antigens have been used to detect E.co]i 0157:H7. The aim of this study was to detecti of E.coli 0157:H7 using'immune serum monospecifik by absorption and coagg]utinationtests. Monospecific immune serum was obtained by injecting E.coli a 157:H7intoNew Zealand White rabbits. Serum was harvested and absorbed with somatic E.coli heterologous antigen until no agglutination was observed. The result shows that immune serum monospecific can be used to detecti of E.coli 0157 :H7inmilk and meat.
