- This study aimed to estimate the value of Natural Increase (NI) of Peranakan Ongole (PO) cattle in Tanjung Sari District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. The study was conducted in February 2018 in three villages with 249 respondents. This research used primary data and seondary data. Primary data was obtained by census method to determine population development and secondary data was obtained from the South Lampung District Animal Husbandry Office. The data were tabulated using Microsoft Excel 2013 and analyzed to calculate the average and standard deviation of all village samples in one sub-district. The result indicated that the birth rate for the population of PO cattle was 33.06% while the death rate was 0.12% so that the value of NI of PO cattle in Tanjung Sari Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province was 32.94%, included in the medium category.
