Daftar Isi:
- This research was conducted to determine the production of biogas and methan gas derived from cow faeces with the addition of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) and liquid waste from processing of tofu. This research consists of three treatments, the first treatment (P0) as a control substrate without the infusion of liquid waste from processing of tofu and the addition of hyacinth, the second treatment (P1) using a liquid waste from processing of tofu, treatment in comparison with the 1:2 and the addition of water hyacinth 2,5% and third treatment (P2) the use of liquid waste from processing of tofu, treatment in comparison with a 1:2 and the addition of water hyacinth 5%. Parameters observed include digester temperature, environmental temperature, humidity, pH value, biogas volume, percentage methan gas, BOD and COD content. The data were analyzed statically using the one-way classification of completely randomized design and directionqualitative descriptive analysis. The average results of research to P0, P1, and P2 for the environment 27,63 C; digester temperature of 26,88 C; 26,41 C;26,51 C; pH value 7,26, 6,99, 7,02; biogas volume of 3,98±1,40%; 5,17±1,57%; 3,75±1,74%; percentage gas metan (CH4) 17,07±5,04%; 14,55±4,22%; 23,71±6,83%; BOD reduction at each treatment was 66,13%, 14,81% and 3,85; COD reduction each treatment was 42,78%; 51,24% and 77,17%. Results of research indicate that the water hyacinth (Eichorniia crassipes) with a liquid waste from processing of tofu can produce methan gas higher rather than without the addition of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes), in addition to the production of biogas volume as contrasted with the production of inverse methan gas.
