- Background: The data deviation of anti-tuberculosis drugs (TB drugs) availability e.g. blankness, more less, or expired founded in Districts Health Office at North of Sumatera Province. For this reason, is needed to do an evaluation of TB drugs distribution from North of Sumatera Province to districts. The purpose of the study is to describe the condition of TB drugs availability and the accuracy of TB drugs planning in the Districts North of Sumatera Province. The results of the study were expected to give some directions to improve TB drugs availability and the accuracy planning of TB drugs distribution. Methods: This study was a non-experimental case study, explorative on TB drugs distribution implementation in District or City of Province North of Sumatera. The data gathering was done by retrospective form questionnaire, interviewing, and observation documents the data was analyzed descriptively. Result: Is obtained since 1999 to 2002 all district or city have TB drugs availability not safety condition. Since 1999 to 2000 there was 1 city at condition of accurately the planned more than 100% and since 2001 to 2002 there was 3 district or city at condition of accurately the planned more than 100%. Conclusion: The action of TB drugs distribution since 1999 to 2002 in District or City of Province North of Sumatera not appropriate because all district or city have TB drugs availability not safety condition and accurately the TB drugs planned is not good.
