- Lesbians have not been socially accepted. This may be because from psychological, social, cultural, and religious viewpoints, they have different sexual orientation. The antecedents of lesbian sexual activities are not clearly known. However, several scholars suggest that lesbian sexual orientation can be viewed from biological, psychodynamic, learning, and social identity. They agree that lesbian sexual orientation is formed in early age and is manifested in adulthood. The problems of lesbian become complicated when religious principles, particularly those of Islam, reject such the orientation because there is not any religious texts acknowledging lesbian sexual orientation in Islam. There are three important problems to be analyzed. First, how a Moslem lesbian hold the self-concept
