- ABSTRAK This study was based on a hypothesized statement that goiter influenced intelligence. The children progressive matrices test for intelligence were administered to 234 elementary school students of the Ngablak Sub-district, Magelang District. Goiter data was obtained from the Magelang Health District Office. An analysis of variance was conducted and the results did not support the hypothesis.
