- This experiment was aimb to increase quality of Orchid of Dendrobium hybrid though effects of colchisin was conducted at screen house of Agronomy of Faculty Of Agriculture UPN " Veteran" Yogyakarta from July 2003 to January 2004. Treatment of research consisted of two factors with one control. The field method used the structured pot in and it was arranged in Randomized Completely Block Design with three replications. First factor was time to put in Cholchisin: 3 hours, 6 hours, and 9 hours. The Second one was Cholchisin at several concentration 0,01 %, 0,02 %, and 0,03 %. The result indicated that there is interaction between put in and concentration of cholchisin a bar diametre, flower size, thick of sepal and labellum and sum of the chromosome. Flower quality of orchid treated by colchisine was better than that of control. Key words : Dendrobium of Orchids, cholchisine
