- This research aims at knowing about (1) how the function implementa-tion of the D.I.Y's Provincial Assembly and (2) how the control of Yogyakarta Corruption Watch over Decree No. 38/KP/DPRD/2002 Publication Of D.I.Y's Regional Assembly on involvement of the assembly's members in the assur-ance program. The research is qualitative descriptive to uncover information and data which can give a picture of the existing social reality as a whole. The research location is in Yogyakarta Corruption Watch (YCW) and Provincial Assem-bly Institution of D.I.Y. Also, data examination technique is through the prin-ciple of cross check that is a triangulation technique. Result of the research shows that D.I.Y's Provincial Assembly can per-form its role and function as the followings: (1) function supervision is more dominant than the legislative function and people's aspiration distributor
