- ABSTRACT A descriptive retrospective research has been carried out to asses the correlation between the type and the severity of psychosocial stressors with major affective and schizophrenic disorders among in-patients psychiatry department at Sardjito General Public Hospital Yogyakarta, within the period of rt July 1989 - 30thJune 1990 (n = 114). There is no significant differences between the type of psychosocial stressors (X2 = 3.480
