- The aim of this research was to analyzed the effect of temperature on the tensile strength of orthodontic elastomeric chain. Three commercial of ortodontic elastomeric chains the transparent and medium type were studied: Forrestadent FOR-Elastics auf der Rote, Ortho Organizers Inc. Clear Chain Elastic, and Dentaurum Elasto-force Plastic chain. Each commercial of orthodontic elastomeric chain was cut into 30 specimens of five units each, and was devided into 3 groups, each group consist of 10 specimens.
