- The purpose of this study was to examine the correlations between linear measurement of the central incisors inclination on study models and angular measurement on lateral cephalograph Sixty study models and sixty lateral cephalograph were used, by randomly selected from patients (26 males, and 34 females) of the researcher private practice. Linear measurement on the study model using orthocross appliance while angular measurement on the lateral cephalograph using protractor template. Occlusal, mandibular, and palatal plane was used as reference line. The data was analysed using Pearson product moment analyses to evaluate the relationship between the study model and cephalometric measurement. The result showed there was significant relationship (p < 0.05) found between the study model and the cephalometric measurement of the upper jaw using palatal plane as reference line, and the lower jaw using occlusal plane as reference line.
