Sixty two day-old experimental chicken (Hyline) were randomly allocated into 10 groups. Group I as a control griup and the 9 treated groups were given increasing dose of tetracycline starting from 400, 800 and 3200 mg per gallon of drinking water. Each dose of tetracycline was given into three groups for 32 days, 16 days and 8 days respectively. All groups of chicken were vaccinated twice: on the 4th day old and then subsequently on the 28th day old. Blood sampels were taken on days 7, 14 and 21 after second vaccination, antibody tiler was measured by HE test using micro plate as described by Beard (1980) and total plas-, ma protein was determine by refractometer. The result indicated that there was significant difference (p 0,05) compared with control However, on days 14 and 21 after second vaccination all treated chicken showed higher antibody titer than control (p 0,05) on each period. Total plasma protein for each period in all experimental chicken did not show significant difference (p >0,05). Furthermore, it was revealed that there was no correlation between HI antibody titer and total plasma protein.
