- Prefix (me N-) has the function to form active verbs, both transitive and intransitive. In its use, this prefix has five kinds of alomorphs, namely, alomorph /morn /, alornorph /m)re-/, alomorph /rn3n-/, alomorph /mj-/, and alomorph /m1 -/. The realization of those alomorphs can be formulated as follows. /ma m-/ -p, -b /m a n -/ -t, -d ( nqN-) /plait/ -s, -c, -j /ma/ -k, -g /mall/ -w. -r, -1, -y &b: -11, Prefix (m) N-1 can be atached to the basic. form of a noun such as in the word (m3 nural) 'to write', to the basic form of a verb such as in the word (ma 'ow) 'to hit', to the basic form of an adjective such as in word (m'VZ pi) 'to grow still', and to the prefalegorial such as the word (mfra3gak) 'to sit'.
