- Alzheimers disease, a progressive degenerative disease which affects neurocortex cerebri, was a kind of dementia occurred in elderly. Many studies showed that prevalence and incidence of Alzheimer's disease correlated with ages, family history, down's syndrome, heads injury history, viral infection. neurotoxic chemical agent, imunological and hormonal disturbance and apolipoprotein E4 presence. This review will identify certain risk factor which roled in increasing prevalence and incidence rate of Alzheimer's disease in several countries, will be a valuable for consideration management and prevention of this disease.
