- AHP (Analytic Hierarchical Process) is a sound method that can be used to determine development priorities at the local as well as the national levels. The anabrsir is aimed at identifying various potential sectors for development. This article is to show how the AHP method was applied for specific cases in the provincial governments. Based on its application in East Java and Central Java, this study offers an alternative for determininglocal devekpmentpriorities according to the actual local demands and needs.
