- Parkinson disease is characterized by tremor, rigidity, akinesis, postural reflex abnormalities, and some additional symptoms. Understanding the anatomy and pharmacology of motoric pathways would enable us comprehend the clinical aspects of motoric fluctuation in Parkinsonism, such as wearing off, on-off fluctuation, and dyskinesia. Levodopa is effective in the treatment of Parkinson's disease
