- Five yield estimation methods were tested on smallholder's rice (Oryza sativa L.), groundnut, (Arachis hypogea L.), soybean (Glycine max Merr.), cassava (Mani-hot utilissima Pohl), and mize (Zea mays L.) at the Yogyakarta Special Territory Province. One of these method was recommended by the Central Bureau of the Statistics and Ministry of Agriculture (method 1). The result showed that the yield estimation data couldn't be directly converted by multiplying the ratio of one hectare divided by the estimation plot size to acquire the actual yield. The correct actual yield could be acquired by the application of an appropriate regression formula for any kind of methods and crops.
