- ABSTRAK With the increasing interest in marine resource exploration, many new fishery harbors and landing places have been developed in the past five years. Many lessons have been learned from the development of these harbors. Most notably, are those related to construction staging as well as sedimentation problem �which is a common problem faced by any harbor development. One of the many fishery harbors developed in 2000/2001 is Cisolok Fishery Harbor in West Java. The harbor was a landing place to be developed into a fishery harbor in three stages. In the first stage, due to limited funding, the staging of the harbor development has been reduced to only the construction of part of the main breakwater. This has caused heavy sedimentation. This paper analyze the field data as well as numerical model analysis to arrive at a solution to overcome the problem. Lesson learned are presented in the conclusion. Key words: Fishery harbor, siltation, littoral transport, breakwater, groin system.
