- ABSTRAK Genetic experiment was conducted to study the controlling genes, gene action, heritability, and correlation among yield components of rice. The parents, F1 and F2 populations of Cipuncgara/IR 52, Cipunegara/IR 50, and IR 52/1R 50 crosses was used in this experiment. The result indicate that yield components were polygenic controlled, and [he popnce ratio or those genes controlling the panicle per plant, spikelet per panicle, and filled grain per panicle were over dominance. On the other hand the 100 grain weight was partial dominance. The estimates of broad sense heritability for yield components ranged from 30 � 47%, of which the 100 grain weight was the highest. The phenotypic and genotypic correlation coefficients among yield components were different in magnitude. Key words: Genetika, tanaman padi, dominan
