- ABSTRAK Decription on the external characteristics of the snail host of .Fasciola gigantica in the Special Province of Yogyakarta has been published in the previous publication of the Bulletin F.K.H. UGM. The biology and the ecology of the snail have never been described. In this issue the biology and the ecology of the snail are described, based on both field observations and laboratory studies. Basically, the biology, and the ecology of Lymnaea auricularis rubiginosa are similar to those of other species of lymnaeid snails reported by previous workers
