Daftar Isi:
  • A study of inbreeding was conducted on P. merkusii. Five parent trees were used in this study. Three types of pollination were performed, namely self, cross and wind pollinations. The self-pollination showed inbreeding depression in cone yield, the number of seed per cone, the percentage of empty serils, seedlings growth in the nursery and six-month growth after planting. However, there was no significant difference on the percentage of seeds germination and seedlings survival among themselves, cross and wind-pollinations. The relative self fertility and lethal equivalent estimation were 0.73 and L28, respectively. Key Word: Pinus, Inbreeding
