- ABSTRACT The sustainable five-year development program, especially on road construction, it is thought to be important to prepare a suitable road construction material. Due to large areas of road construction and high material quantity demanded, the use of local materials can not be avoided. A local material, such as aggregate, has its own characteristic and quality. These will effect on the quality of aggregate - asphalt mixture. In order to fulfil the design requirement� so in preparing aggregate - asphalt mixture, attention should be paid on quality and quantity of the materials, sample characteristics and the research design. There are three models of aggregate asphalt mixture design in employing substitution aggregate or filler. From the test indicate that the models were running well and have a good result.
