- ABSTRACK KPHP (Permanent Production Forest Management) is an area permanently established to produce a continuous supply of wood for the local and industrial consumption as well as secondary or non-wood products at its maximal potential. The establishment of KPHPs will facilitate the development of management strategies for optimising production potential as well as strategies for conservation measures including hydrological balance, erosion level, and wildlife. In order to fulfil the objectives of the study, using Satellite Image Maps as a basis, for selection of areas suitable for forest production. Other special studies were made on environmental impact, socioeconomics, soils, forest production, marketing, GIS application.
