  • The aim of this research is to set up the sufficient system, which is used for real-time rice quality identification based on the acoustic vibration and then can dissociate it pursuant to rice quality (good, medium, or bad quality). In order to get the acoustic vibration respond of the object, two condenser microphones and the signal conditioning system have been set. The signals have been processed using 24 bit sound-card imbedded in the personal computer. The data of the experiment have been recorded and analyzed by using Cool Edit Pro version 2.0. Pursuant to result of spectrum frequency examination of the bad rice quality, a dominant frequency spectrum is identified at frequency between 0 kHz up to 9 kHz, but above 9 kHz is not found a dominant frequency spectrum. At the medium rice quality, is founded a different frequency spectrum with the bad rice quality, namely at frequency between 13.5 kHz up to 15 kHz with the maximum amplitude are located at frequency 14,650 Hz. At the good rice quality, is founded a different frequency spectrum with the bad rice quality although the medium rice quality, namely at frequency between 16.5 kHz up to 17.5 kHz (with the maximum amplitude are located at frequency 16,970 Hz) and at frequency between 18.5 kHz up to 19.5 kHz (with the maximum amplitude are located at frequency 19,210 Hz).
