  • ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to know the effect of dietary composition to the albumin level and Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN)/ creatinine ratio of hemodialysisi patients with chronic renal failure at General Hospital Dr. Sardjito in Yogyakarta. These research was carried out in August up to September 2000. The food comsumption data were collected for three days, including the day at, after andbefore the coming dialysis. Then before HD blood were taken for investigation the albumin, BUN and creatinine levels. This result showed that energy intake was marginal effected with albumin levels. There was no different protein, proportion meats protein and vegetables protein intakes on albumin levels. Energy, protein,, proportion meats protein and proportion vegetables protein intakes did not effect with BUN/creatinine ratio.
