- The purpose of making Compilation of Islamic Law is to reach the sameness in the Islamic Law enforcement, but it doesn't mean to abolish the freedom and independence ofJudge in holding the judicature function. so it can be used as a compass to resolve marriage, inheritance, and wakaf cases. As broad outline, Compilation of Islamic Law still uses the Islamic Law in inheritance (Faraid), but there are many new rules as wasiat wajibah (platsvervulling). The aim of this research is to find out how Compilation of Islamic Law has influenced on inheritance case settlements at Religious Court. The research was conducted within Yogyakarta Special Province using documentary studies and interview to the Judges at Religious Court in Yogyakarta Special Province. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The research showed that the Judges use Compilation of Islamic Law as a base in their decision, beside Koran and As Sunah.
