  • ABSTRACT Bengkok land is land that belongs to village in Java. It is also the land for use of village employees in place of salary. After the changing of village status became district, its change the status of bengkok land to be ex bengkok in which the management is accomplished by district government. The study is obtained in Semarang city, Central of Java by ratio-legal research approach. Data resource is secondary data that is collected by literature study and primary data is collected by internal with competence partics. The study is analyzed qualitatively. The result of the study founded that most of land of 582.7 ha ex bengkok land in 8 sub districts and 108 districts are used by the surrounding society by auction and some of them are rented by third parties. Nevertheless there are 78.71 ha of the land causes conflict between society and local government in its utilization.
