- Women's participation in the work force increases, women's jobs are often well acknowledged nor appreciated as they should be. Thereforce, the contribution of female workers is not yet visible, because they are not the primary breadwinners. For the purpose, this research was conducted by studying the case of limestone industry in Jimbung village, the Klaten Regency. The case has shown the involement of the workers in the existing limestone industry al¬though it has experienced high and low development. This research, among others, aims to study the workforce dynamics of women in the limestone industry or in the limestone furnace, with the assumtion that women are classified as the additional breadwinners, ? hisycally weak, emotional, and other female attributes assigned to them, hereforce, this research tries to study how far or how great is the under¬standing about their jobs
