- The purpose of this research is to study the impact of changing logging price to the quantity of output and profit of large and medium plywood industry in Indonesia 1981 - 1995.This research uses the secondary data from BPS of plywood manufacturing industrial firms in 1981 - 1995. The method of the analysis employes the regression analysis of error correction model and analysis of correlation. The variable which used to represent the quantity of output and profit are the quantity of plywood and value of plywood minus input cost and expendi?ture for labor.By regression and correlation, the results were :1, An increase in price of logging would decrease the quantity of logging was used by the large and medium plywood industry both in the short run and Iong run.2. Both in the short run and long run, an increase in price of logging would cause a decrease the output of the large and medium plywood industry.3. In the short run an increase in price of logging would cause a decrease in profit of the large and medium plywood industry
