- The pce values of vehicles differ from one country to the other. The differences depend on the site specific of traffic conditions and the characteristics of vehicles. To measure those values many methods could be adopted, however the site specific of traffic conditions should be the prime consideration in order the pce values to be appropriate for those locations. The method based on the capacity analysis is one of methods which is considered to be appropriate for investigating pce values in Yogyakarta due to the specific traffic conditions. This method much depends on the influences of speeds, time headways and lateral distances of the vehicles in the road. The results show that the pce values varies from one site to the other, however, in general those results vindicate a good agreement with the traffic conditions in Yogyakarta.
