- ABSTRACT Lightweight concrete. have many advantages since it could reduce selfweight of structure, AO the dimension of structure and the size of foundation could be minimized and the price of structure will be competitive comparing with the other materials.. In order to increase the structural properties, a sum offiber could be added into the concrete mixes. The research was concucted to investigate the structural properties of fiber reinforced lightweight concrete using pumice as aggregate materials. Two types of fiber, i.e. Collated Fibrillated Polypropylene (CFP) and Twisted Bundle CFP were used in the research and added into the mixes in concrentration of 0.055 , 0.110 % and 0.165 % by volume. A series of specimens were made and tested in age of 14 and 28 days. The results showed that the fiber reinforced lightweight concrete using pumice as aggregate materials have a minimum compressive strength of 23.71 Mpa at 28 days and a unit weight of 1881.49 (lighter of 20 % than normal concrete). Additian of polypropylene fiber decreased workability of mixes, but increased compressive and impact strength, and modulus of elasticity of 15.75 %, 218 % and 5. % respectivelly.
