- INTISARI The study of water resources development in Nusa Tenggara Timur Province, consists of analysis of the water availibility and of the water demand. Nusa Tenggara Timur is divided into three river territories or SWS (Satuan Wilayah Sungai), namely SWS Sumba, SWS Flores and SWS Timor (Barat). For the purpose of water development, this SWS river territory system is divided further into 24 Sub WS. Water availibility and water demand are calculated in each Sub WS. Water potential is assessed using the hydrological records of monthly river discharge and monthly rainfall. Water demand is also calculated on monthly basis
