- The intention of the research is to study speeds on various speedhumps and therefore an appropriate shape and size of speedhumps could be determined Investigation of 20 speedhumps were carried out in Yogyakarta and its sorrounding. The results show that 85 percentile of speeds on speedhumps are different from one class of speedhumps to the others depending on their shapes and sizes. It is found that trapezoidal speedhumps could reduce speed larger than sinusoidal speedhumps.
