- ABSTRACT Hospital that used to be seen as a social organization is not longer managed by common sense. Consumer of hospital service is not different from customer of product and service of profit organization. Customer has rapidly changed in their needs and the way full filling their needs. Therefore, to be survived and developed in changes business environment, hospital management has to find the level of service quality, patient expectation, and satisfaction as a basic strategic organization in increasing service quality. The aim of this study is to find out the degree of patient satisfaction before and after the implementation of clinical guide of bronchial asthma patient. This study arranged as a field study, that is a quasi-experimental study that used questioner as a survey method. The subject of the study is ambulatory asthma patient in ambulatory unit and emergency unit of RSTP Sidawangi Cirebon on May to June 1998. There are 52 respondents which constitute of 24 respondents on pre test and 28 respondent on post test. Moment product correlation and Hotelling's T statistical examination used to find out patient perception toward the relation and the influence of service quality of patient service. The result of the study showed: 1) patient satisfaction score toward nurse care increases unintended p>0,05
