  • A seroepidemiological study had been conducted in order to know the prevalence of virus B and virus C infection. Seven hundred five hospital staffs, 171 liver diseases patients and 58 chronic renal diseases patients were tested for anti-HCV core and HBsAg. The results of anti-HCV core tests were positive: 9,5%. 42,2% and 55% among each group respectively. The prevalence of anti-HCV core from these three groups were higher than the prevalence of HBsAg positive which were 1,7% among healthy people, 25,9% among liver disease patients and only 10% among chronic renal desease patients.
