- An in-vitro investigation has been caned out to evaluate the influence of the diameter and the distance of the McSpadden compactor point from the apex and the sealer of the root canal filling toward the apical foramen obturation. One hundred twenty freshly extracted central upper incisors were prepared by flare technique. The subject was devided into twelve groups at random with equal number of ten teeth. Three different treatments of root canal filling by thermomechanical technique were performed: (1) the diameter of the compactor were no.30 and n0.50
