- ABSTRAK The effect of organic matter, line and ferrisulphate treatment, on some physical properties of soil related to corn root growth on regosol soil was studied. Soil physical properties observed consist of bulk density, total porosity, pf curve, moisture available and dispertion ratio, also soil pH. Weight of plant root used as root growth index. Results showed that organic matter treatment improved soil physical properties and root growth lime and ferricsulphate also improved soil physical properties however, it decreased root growth. Correlation of soil physical properties to root growth was significant, except for total of porosity correlation of soil pH to root growth, however was uery significant.
