- This research was conducted to verify the HEC-1 model at Upper Ciliwung Watershed. The verified model can be applied on that watershed in water conservation context or on the others one with parameters adjustment. There were seven parameters in HEC-1 model i.e. CRVNBR , STRTL, TC, R, K, x and TAREA. The first four parameters were more sensitive than the others to the model output Qp (peak flow) and F (sum of flows). K and x were not sensitive and TAREA was fixed. The sensitivity order from the most sensitive was CRVNBR, STRTL, R and TC. The CRVNBR on one side and STRTL, TC, R on the other side were at the opposite influence to the model output. Parameters optimation had been run with univariate method on three steps i.e first calibration, second calibration and verification. The objective function for optimation was minimization STDER between observed and modelled flows. The research showed that the HEC-1 model was valid for Upper Ciliwung Watershed with validity tools are STDER (standard error) = 11, L, ( Euclidian norm, the distance between two-dimension columns vectors) = 61 and T-test = 0,000 (T, bie with a/2 = 5 % is 2,045). The graphical viewers were displayed with scatter diagrams and hidrographs comparation. Keywords: model verification � parameter sensitivity � univariate method.
