- ABSTRACT: Inoculation of Scleroderma sp., an ectomycorrhizal fungus, could improve soil P availability, increased both tissue P content and pine seedling growth. Mycelium gave a > better results as inoculum compared to spore. Ectomycorrhizae pine seedlings were more resistant to compete with lalang grass, but the resistance will be lower with the denser lalang population around the pine, since it was also revealed that lalang grass inhibit mycorrhizal infection. Key words : pine seedling - mycorrhiza - lalang grass allelopathy.
